Is the place of prayer for us 'a precious habitation, safe and inwardly quiet' (Quaker Faith & Practice 20.10) yet one that calls us into the world, not out of it? This retreat is an opportunity to experience in practice what prayer means for us. It will include times of silence and reflection and times to share our responses.
Vera Dolton has a special concern for both one-to-one ministry and group spiritual nurture. She is a member of the Quaker Retreat Group and a long-standing local contact for the Julian Meetings.
