Contents The Manor The Gilletts

Charney hosts this programme of guided retreats, each of which seeks to nourish the spirit  through silence, deep listening and exploring with heart and mind. We hope there is something here for all and that both Friends and those interested in the Quaker way will come to benefit from the calm and beauty of this place of spiritual refreshment.

Charney Manor offers simple accommodation in a beautiful setting. Weekend courses run from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime.

If you require transport from Didcot Parkway there will be someone there to meet the train. It is important for us to know which train you are likely to arrive on. If you are arriving at Southmoor by bus, you can be collected at the bust stop. Participants are welcome to arrive after 4 p.m. on the first day of the course.

There is a bookstall in the Manor where a range of books of a spiritual nature is on display. There is usually a book box specially related to the subject of the weekend.
